Don't you just hate BAD REVIEWS! π Especially when someone dings you that might not have had any interaction with.
Unfortunately Bad reviews are inevitable in the BHPH and auto world.
However, there are some things you can do to combat BAD Reviews:
Generate Good Reviews βββββ from your GOOD customers SOON After their purchase
The Pipeline handles this for you when you mark a customer as sold, it sends an instant TEXT to your Google Review Link
Another way is to do this WHILE they are in front of the sales and your finalizing paperwork. Just have the salesperson ask them if they wouldn't mind reviewing them. Then hit the Reviews button in the Pipeline and it will text them.
Follow Up Review System AFTER the sale for those that don't leave a review
The automatic follow up helps get those reviews in the first 10 days after the sale is made
Plus, after the 10-day period, the Reverb Pipeline will send a text message to the customer about Referrals, Billing Auto Pay links, etc. automatically for you.
Also, be sure to reply to ALL of your reviews, whether Good or Bad.
Appeal to Google - although this doesn't always work, it is something you should do because some reviews will get tossed out by Google
Ask them to remove the review. Call them and just ask if they will remove the review. Sometimes they do it in the heat of the moment and after they cool down, will go back in and remove it.
Lastly, go on the attack - this is something that I would recommend very often BUT it can work, especially when someone is using an alias instead of their real name. IF you think you know who the particular customer is, use their name in the review and detail MUCH about the situation including details that they may find embarrassing enough to remove the review.
