What's the Big Deal About Whats App?
WHATS APP is quickly becoming a go to for many people, especially Internationals, to communicate.
It is definitely more popular with people that want to connect with family & friends in other countries without having to use data, minutes or international calling/texting on their cell phones.
WHATS APP allows someone to make calls and send messages from anywhere and just use the Whats App app on their mobile to do so.
So for instance, people in Texas can connect with people in Mexico with Whats App and not have to buy or have an International calling/ data plan.
Think of Whats App as a similiar system to Facebook Messenger with the exception that there are phone numbers attached versus just a name when someone uses.
Oh, and guess who owns Whats App?
Facebook or Meta is they like to now be called.
The person still uses their cell phone but uses Whats App to message and call.
This opens up a whole new world of possibilities for people wanting to connect with you that are using an alternative method to communicate with people.
